President Bush Announced the Issuance of the Stop Family Violence Stamp

The President announced the issuance of the Stop Family Violence stamp in October of 2003 after proclaiming October to be National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The stamp features a powerful depiction of a distraught woman affected by domestic violence and is intended to raise awareness about this important social issue.
